HIGH QUALITY CHILDCARE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES
Scribbles Day Nursery is a not for profit community business which allows for any profits made to be reinvested back into the Taughmonagh Community. Scribbles started as a funded Social Economy project, which received £250,000 of grant from the E.U Peace and Reconciliation programme. The aims of the project were to establish a high quality facility, with fully qualified staff and no hidden extras that parents had to pay for.
We initially opened Scribbles in January 2005. Since then we have become a self-sustaining business, providing high quality childcare which has grown from a 28-place nursery to a facility that, following our new build Healthy Business Centre, will potentially have the capacity to care for up to 52 children ranging from 6 weeks to 4 years old.
At Scribbles we aim to provide a flexible service for families, offering both full-time and part-time sessions. Our morning session runs from 7.30am until 1.30pm and our afternoon session runs from 1.30pm until 6.00pm. Our prices are inclusive of food and any extracurricular activities such as Jo Jingles, Debutots and outings etc.
